loved the movie, but given the most glaring difference from the books, i couldnt help laughing at the whole... john carter of mars being made by disney XD

dont get me wrong , i truly loved the movie.. a rare thing for me these days... but given the source material... where martians actually walk around nakey...and you hear disney is making the movie...

you cant help but laugh at little ironies

Ive read the First three books of the john Carter series: 'A Princess of Mars', 'The Gods of Mars', and the last of the three "The Warlord Of Mars'. Near the end of the first book 'A princess of Mars' John Carter's Love interest Dejah Thoris is discribed as the Jewel of Helium. Good sir you have made a awsome job with this picture. Thank you very much.:)

Now, if Dejah Thoris looked like THIS...I would definitely have watched the movie. As it is...I don't think I can stomach a Disneyfied John Carter of Mars.
