actually shown on next page , it has two long tongues to catch smaller prey and guid into throat to be swallowed whole

their jaws are split cause their bite is poisonous and this gives them a better grip on necks of greater beasts

Thanks for the insight, but im still confused on how they eat bigger prey, do the jaws have enough streaght to tear flesh?

nope, they dont hunt larger prey, they dont have the wing strenght to carry a killed dragon and usually their maximum of carrying is a cow or a horse, they can easily handle tearing apart those but they dont really eat other dragons, wywerns are essentially raptors of the old world, they rely on numbers and one key element, they are one of 4 species of dragons that carry a powerul venom in their tailspikes so even tho they can take down a larger dragon they usually leave it to rot
