I do really wish I could get into Marvel comics, I've always loved the aesthetic designs of the villains in Spider-Man, especially the origins of the villains, but just... comic books. I've never really enjoyed them, they just seem so overpriced for the extremely meager stories they offer compared to a novel. It would be nice if Marvel could ever expand their audience target and start producing actual full 500+ page novels on the 616 superheroes.
Any advice on how to get into reading comics when you prefer books instead? 'Cause I want to, just that they don't feel accessible.
Have you tried borrowing graphic novels from your public library? That way you can dip your toes in and not have to make the financial investment, if you don't want to. Plus, you can read an entire storyline in one go, rather than waiting on each single issue.
Man, this wickedly awesome, I absolutely love this piece, I don't believe I seen a scary Carnage since Clayton Crain's Carnage, you definitely did an awesome job on this piece. I love how Carnage head's is protruding to such an odd shape, definitely gives you a lot of freedom to design the eyes in the form of the head, which you did incredibly well. Also I love the protruding teeth, and the crazy ass tongue with the added saliva, definitely makes for a scary Carnage, without those things, he is not scary. Also the red against the black background is perfect, the red definitely pops out and makes that figure stand out, this is absolutely awesome. Keep up the awesome work man, I love it.
