Okay.... From someone whose played hundreds of hours in Skyrim and Fallout. It goes thusly... Begin with the bow. When they agg on you, switch to the gun. When they get within ten feet, start poking em with the spear. At five feet, commence to make monster salami with the sword. For those who like to hug, well, Umi likes to hug too, and I'll bet she's better.
Each weapon, each tactic has it's place. A Witchblade is like having a video game inventory, with a ton of different weapons!
The cowgirl offers a practical solution, the archer makes a good point, the swordslinger honors tradition, the cavewoman wants to do what she does best and the redhead is just saying something for the sake of saying something
Okay, just a random fan here don't mind me really, but in all seriousness, I know Una and Imani... who are the other three? I've tried figuring it out but I don't want to be an idiot and think I know for a fact. I'm thinking red's Joan and the one above her is Hua but the cowgirl... I got nothing. And A lot of people like to see Ally with Mary don't they?
I have a technical question on the witchblade. If each wielder "channels" previous ones and uses their signature weapons, how are these signature weapons determined, since the previous carriers also used the witchblade and channeled older ones? For instance when Mary channels Imani she gets a bow, but given that when Imani had the witchblade she used it and channeled older users, instead of using a bow, how does the bow relate to her? And also, if it is a "personality/character-relation" what is the respective for Mary?
I love your work, am I the first to say that? I bet I am. I have had so much fun reading the comments on this drawing. Please allow me to sarcastically and with mucho hyperbole some up what I'm reading. *Ahem*
I love this pic, so many Lara Crofts! There's a black Lara Croft, and a cowgirl Lara Croft, and an asian Lara Croft, a cavewoman Lara Croft, and a teenage Lara Croft... but is that redhead Lara Croft a knight or a squire? I also noticed you didn't put the pirate Lara Croft in the pic or the guy that summons those demon thingie's, (can't tell if that's a male Lara Croft or young Bruce Wayne). Anyway, I just finished playing the new Lara Croft game and now I'm playing lego Batman, do you like games?
now you can go ant d tell the same thing to every comic artist out there, and expand to manga artists also XD that is pretty much the basis in every style. you end up reducing facial characteristics to symbolism.
simplification for the sake of speed, while you let the clothes haircolor and shape and acessories be the defining factors
this is nothing new and has been a staple of comic art for decades.
sure i can tell you that. i can also tell you that every artistic style uses the same damn types for many characters.
do you go and say to a manga artist these are all the same damn characters with different hairs? do you go and tell a western superhero style artist that he is drawing the same characters with different haircolors and costumes?
cause we all do that. style is all about reducing the detailed nature of reality to a symbolical nature of elements.
so to clarify.. if she doesn't have flatcut bangs, doesn't have a mole doesn't have small sexy glasses, and most importantly, isn't banging a hot redhead.. its most likely not ally
and if the dude has black hair, isn't pervy and can summon darklings... then its a pretty safe bet its not alan
trust me when i draw ally and alan you will damn well know it XD
