I have a technical question on the witchblade. If each wielder "channels" previous ones and uses their signature weapons, how are these signature weapons determined, since the previous carriers also used the witchblade and channeled older ones? For instance when Mary channels Imani she gets a bow, but given that when Imani had the witchblade she used it and channeled older users, instead of using a bow, how does the bow relate to her? And also, if it is a "personality/character-relation" what is the respective for Mary?
I love your work, am I the first to say that? I bet I am. I have had so much fun reading the comments on this drawing. Please allow me to sarcastically and with mucho hyperbole some up what I'm reading. *Ahem*
I love this pic, so many Lara Crofts! There's a black Lara Croft, and a cowgirl Lara Croft, and an asian Lara Croft, a cavewoman Lara Croft, and a teenage Lara Croft... but is that redhead Lara Croft a knight or a squire? I also noticed you didn't put the pirate Lara Croft in the pic or the guy that summons those demon thingie's, (can't tell if that's a male Lara Croft or young Bruce Wayne). Anyway, I just finished playing the new Lara Croft game and now I'm playing lego Batman, do you like games?
now you can go ant d tell the same thing to every comic artist out there, and expand to manga artists also XD that is pretty much the basis in every style. you end up reducing facial characteristics to symbolism.
simplification for the sake of speed, while you let the clothes haircolor and shape and acessories be the defining factors
this is nothing new and has been a staple of comic art for decades.
