modulok ...i had to...i mean..3 legged red guy... by nebezial modulok ...i had to...i mean..3 legged red guy... by nebezial
i remember having this guy as a toy and boy was he changed int he cartoons, the toy itself is just crazy, but when i was the cartoon version i was laughing my ass off

so the designer in me just itched too much

so, i went and tried to make the original cartoon version plausible with a stirylike element.. since this guy is a scientist...

i figured he took some of hordaks nanotech that lets him change his form to test it

this is linked to my hordak redesign

theidea is to make his changing parts of his body plausible

and so modulok used the same tech later to tweak his own physiology and be able to change his body

yeah.... im a massive nerd, surprised?

im also an addict to make old silly looking designs look plausible and boy did this guy look silly

ehehe... one of my favorite old toys. It's still fun to take him out and see what the most screwed-up way he can be re-arranged...

Now you've got me thinking about how that biology would work. Some of it would have to be a doppleganger's ability to change it's body. (allowing for joints to be attached to sockets they normally wouldn't attach to. Beyond that, having each body part capable of living for a short while independent of the body would be required. As well as the ability for each part to seal it's self off when detached. And finally a psychic connection perhaps that would allow the mind to both control detached limbs and order them to unseal and connect.

It is an interesting train of thought, thank you for that.

I like this comic classic style you're taking with the art man. I'm a bit young to recognize these characters but I take it as a learning experience
