just had some zbrush fun with my wife's old fanart of mass effects tali zorah. it is a topic that annoyed us to no end these days... ugh.. but ill not go into that discussion all over again, i think i got the nerd rage out of my system... anyhoo

quick model with photoshop postwork and compositing, all in all a 2 and a half hour funtime
and here is the original pic it was based on

I didn't know my two favourite webcomic creators were also responsible for my favourite Tali interpretation. You both made a fantastic job, and I wished that Bioware had hired both of you for creating the faces of the Quarians.

I agree with EVERYTHING here, except the ears. The ears are off to me, but the rest is just so bloody perfect, I don't care.

This is by far the best Tali art or otherwise which i think really shows what i reckon a Quarian should look like. Human like and Alien like mixed in brilliantly with a rather exotic and beautiful look.

Fantastic work by you and your wife, your both talented and only wished this would be used in the game for Tali, .

Looks very good. The purple colour and the horn-like forehead are giving her quite an exotic and fascinating design. It's quite a good mix between human-like and alien-like. While Tali is adorable with her helmet on and everything, she doesn't really look adorable now. It's more like a ... I don't know ... I think I'll stay with a very fascinating sight that could go back to being adorable over time. Tali's behaviour would sooner or later make me think that way anyway.
