of all the magic in ravine it is the healing that is the easiest, but at the same time the hardest... for it is easy to do, but its price is massive

as all magic uses lifespan of the mage healing is the pricyest one as mage uses nothing but his lifespan to encourage the wounds of another to heal.

this is why healers are honored above all other mages in most kingdoms, their families set for life ....

but then , sometimes you just find that special someone who is worth a few years of your life, and thats all the incentive you need


this is jsut a sneak peak into issue 3 of ravine, , as issue 2 is about a month away from completion, and by then issue 1 will be ready for publishing, and then well anounce the official schedule...

just trying to understand something...if he is a necrtye, then would his lifespan really be in jeopardy after using his maga for healing?

standard magic is use of maga to agitate and guide the agitated necra to its target. necryte can agitate necra without binding hand using up his lifeforce.


healing is different. it uses pure maga, raw lifeforce and it is the only case where a necryte is no different than any other mage. but we will get to in depth explanations of magic in issues 2 and 3

You know that would have been almost instantly fatal, the left armpit is right over the heart, army train you to stab arpit or neck. And most knife related martial arts do to. A stab there would sever almost every artery.

I thought Stein was a secrete and therefore able to use magic without it directly impacting his lifespan. Am I wrong about this?
