Sweet, they remind me of some creatures I made up called sharkai, or shredders. They are based on Deltora Quest vraal, only with paralyzing stinging tails, potent venom, and raptor feet. I wonder what would happen if the two civilizations met, these guys look like they could definitely match one in battle.
never saw it , coincidentally, never read john carter before, and we could say every single one for these things is derived from there... we could go further into mithologies for multiarmed creatures both in indian and greek... but you see my point no idea, and irrelevant. everything you do will resemble something else, it is how you treat the characters that defines them
I didn't mean to imply that one idea took basis from something else, I just noted the similarity between amazing concepts. As my English teacher said "There's no original content, just variations" so naturally what you say is true, it was not my intent to say as such.
I've started watching you relatively recently, but you treat all your characters with more respect than most mainstream characters I commonly see, which is a breath of fresh air. Not many fantastical creatures feel like they can be real, like they SHOULD be real like yours do.
didnt think you were, but the topic is something i have been discussing with a bunch of friends recently in depth my conclusion was, there is no real originality, there is merely how you decide to treat your characters, everything else is influenced
only one i ever had was burne ghogarths dynamic anatomy, veryone swears by loomis, and i highly recommend gettign several bodybuilding magazines and fitness ones, and then study, and map musclegroups till you learn them
Thanks for your prompt reply. It is just frustrating, sometime you think you got it at first but later on you come back and do it again... your back to square one specially with the figure. just takes allot of practice I guess.
I really appreciate your comment and helpful insights, keep up the good work I really find your stuff inspirational.
