just a shot of nebezial from the time of the battle for ravenora. the glory days before the traitory that destroyed his body and soul.
in those days the ruler of the norther kingdom of aphelion, also called farreach , was the younger of two brothers. nebezial, also named raven of the north.
he was the only ruler crowned by eani with the crown from the old world. but it is his weapon that made him the king.
Not by an act of violence but by a test of worth was he crowned, by proving his power and sealing a wanderers weapon magradan. with this he was chosen to marry an eani and through the rites of old world he was to inherit the immortality of their people

but too much of a good thing will breed jealousy

What's the significance of the notch on the upper ear? I've seen it on a lot of characters from Ravine, and I'm not sure if it's a form of body modification or if it's a quality of their race (assuming they aren't human).

they are human and thats a keen eye you got there :), its a dedication of the faith of aertes, , it is done at the age of ten, , some think the sutom a barbaric one but it has remained for over a thousand years a sign of faith in fate

Okay, so the ear notch is called a sutom? And it's a combination between a display of faith and a right of passage? Cool, so where can I order Ravine? And expect some more random questions when I think of them.

Beautiful work. I discovered your gallery through a "wow, look at this" post on tabletop RPG forum RPGnet about the He-Man and She-Ra posters, and I'm very curious about Ravine and impressed with what I see already.

One question, like Arjent, Nebezial has "split" pointed ears, is this a racial, cultural or family feature? Or would that be telling...?
