I think this is what happens next: the Horde troopers spot Adora and Bo and attack them; they split up to avoid being captured, giving Adora the oportunity she needs to change into She-Ra. After She-Ra defeats the Horde troopers, Bo asks her where Adora is and she tells him that Adora is safe.
When I was a kid I was watching He-Man & She-Ra movie like a proper, four-year-old(approximately) fan- In my pants holding a plastic sword. It wasn't always hot enough for such cosplay, so I had to go to bathroom pretty often and it got me wonder- "When does He-Man go to bathroom?". Pretty quickly I realised how simple the answer was- when they cut to other characters far away from him and he's off screen. Aaaah, life was so simple.
this! Omg why don't they give She-Ra her own comic reboot like they are her brother? I'd vote you in as the artist in a heartbeat, this looks great. It's nice to see our girl in an updated look (and Bow too)
LOL XD, I always wondered why this didn't happen more often in story, especially since Adora was made "leader" of the Rebellion after she defected from the Horde (which never really made sense to me since just because she defected doesn't mean they'd trust her to lead over senior members of the Rebellion ya know? especially since she never told them she was She-Ra lol).
It makes more sense for Adora to pass herself off as a "inexperienced newb" in the Rebellion so she can disappear more easily and not cause as big a stir, i.e. most people tend to panic when their leader vanishes during or before a major battle. Granted, I never understood why she or He-Man had to hide their true identities anyway given the world setting they lived in and how the bad guys were always targeting them and their loved ones no matter what form they were in (plus I think the Rebels or the Masters could be trusted with He-Man's & She-Ra's true identities if it were REALLY necessary to keep the baddies guessing).
Love how ya drew Adora, she looks cute yet tough but looks different enough from She-Ra so that people who know her well can't tell they're the same person, and Bow looks surprising cool in his new getup and hood...I see ya kept his "heart" there though, any reason why besides Nostalgia? lol
kept the heart because that is the way i update designs. i try to retain the characteristic elements while upgrading where necessary. one of the big problems i have with many of the old designs updates nowadays is that they lose their minds and just make the characters completely unrecognizable. i am a firm believer of balance. keep it recognizable, but give it some style
You know, as a kid I never really liked She-Ra. Even at 5 years old I knew she was just He-Man with breasts. That wasn't enough for me to relate to her. But I'm really enjoying your interpretation of her.
Bow looks so bad-ass despite the fact he has a red girly looking heart on his chest!
Nice! I like how every-day this idea is, because we've all thought it... the episode of Futurama with Captain Yesterday, Clobberella, and Super King mocked it, and you've - naturally - depicted it iconically. ;D
