this is a commission i did for someone, not a portrait but more of a c omic booky interpretation of jack sparrow made in inkwash, as i found it a bit lame to hog off a simple photorefed portrait as an original comission

I love this, everyone always tries to push the envelope with his feminine side, the little hand gestures and what not, but this here looks awesome and the fact you drew him to look more dark [in my honest opinion] i applaud it, muchly. no, i think i fav it, muchly.
Great job, although I think somethings off with his nose. Seems to be one of two things it's either the slope (drops to steeply from the bridge) or it's a bit to long (needs to be just a shade shorter) but like you said it's an interpretation so it doesn't actually have to look like Mr. Depp. Other then that you've captured the feel of Jack perfectly with the hair scratching puzzeled look.
I like your work. Very nice figure, however, seems to me, that there are some discrepancies in anatomy of the person. At least there are the some problems with his eyes. They are located a little above than should be and as, the dripstone of the left eye is drawn a little bit further from nose bridge, than it is necessary to be. IMXO.
