heres a lil insight in how i draw witchblade,
first i get a script, after reading it i make these, layouts, they are then sent to my editor rob levin for approval.
after he approves them i paint
these layouts are form issue 121 made directly on my tabllet pc, with photoshop cs 2.
these are the starting stages from some of the pages in the book before final edits, so its just me.
i usually dont use references, too much time consuming so most of the times i just wing it. this issue was howewer reference heavy.... by my standars, and by that i mean it had 2 characters drawn directly from photos. one was the sweepstakes winned mike fogg, not on these pages, and the other, jeff is a real phorensic and a friend of a friend of mine lol , rons friend to be more precise, so we put him in the book, you can see him mostly in lineart here, also , these layouts sill show u in roughs hos i set up my pages and scenes.
as u may have noticed till now im a fan of classic framing, i dont go wild with layout itself, but try to tell the story, which by the way i wouldnt recommend you try to guess from these layouts as theyve been placed in no particular order
..... yeah.. im too lazy for that XD
